Competition Rules
2011/12 Season
Club Leagues (Prints and Projected Images)
· Each of the three League Rounds for Prints will consist of 3 images in each of Divisions 1 (Expert) and 2 (Intermediate).
The highest two scores in each round to count.
· Each of the three League Rounds for Projected Digital Images (P.D.I) will consist of 4 images in each of Divisions 1 and 2.
The highest three scores in each round to count.
· The highest total score from all three rounds will determine the winner of each league.
· In the event of a tie the trophy shall be shared.
· Make up entries for missed rounds will be at the discretion of the Competition Secretary.
· Scoring will be on the 1 to 20 scale.
· For Prints the maximum mount size is 40 x 50 cm. Smaller images and mounts may be submitted.
· For Projected Digital Images the preferred image size is pixels 1400 x 1050 JPEG (.jpg) format.
· All projected images must be submitted on CD or USB memory stick at least one week prior to the competition for which they are
entered. Other formats and media are by prior agreement of the competition secretary.
· All submitted images must not have been entered in any previous internal competition, with the exception that an image submitted as a
Print in one season may be entered as a Projected Image in a subsequent season and vice-versa.
· New members and promotions/relegations between Divisions will be at the discretion of the competition secretary.
Ted Moore Trophies (Prints and Projected Digital Images)
· For sets of three Prints and/or three Projected Digital Images. Only ONE set in each section.
· The Set to comprise of three, NON-RELATED subjects. New images and those used in any previous competition during the current year
are eligible.
· Images can only be entered for either of the Ted Moore Trophies once.
· Scoring will be of each individual image on the 1 to 20 scale.
· The winner to be the author with the highest combined score for all three images in a set.
· In the event of a tie the Judge will view each set to decide the outright winner.
· Images scoring 18 or over are eligible for the 18+ Trophy.
The 18+ M.O.L. Trophies (Prints and Projected Digital Images)
· For those images which have scored over 9/10 or 18/20 in any Independently Judged Internal or External North Hampshire Photographic Society
Competition during the current season.
· The winner will be the author of the best image (in the judge’s considered opinion) in both Print and P.D.I.

ALL TROPHIES TO BE HELD FOR 1 YEAR ONLY.
